Please, Stop….
Back then in Highschool, there was a particular subject I was really good at. Even though my school was populated with a lot of brilliant students, when it comes to that very subject, everyone clears the road. Lol.

One day, in my penultimate year, I didn’t really prepare well for the exams because, ‘oversabi,’ I walked into the exam hall expecting to kill it like before, but what I saw shocked me. E shock me.

Here was I struggling to put correct figures. I was sitting close to the window when one girl peeped at my work and told me one figure. With that one figure, I got the rest.

I got home, but knowing that I had ‘cheated,’ I had no peace. I began to cry and pray to God for mercy. I cried so much that I begged God not to be the best in that exam. I literally begged him.
When I felt my prayers were answered, I had peace. The speech and prize given day came, I wasn’t called. Fam, I was EXCITED!

To me, it was a compensation for my sin… If only I had known that I was just being foolish. I was just being a mumu free of charge.
Brothers and sisters, please listen to me, YOU CAN’T PAY ANYMORE for your sins than Jesus has already paid.

Some believers would have even preferred that Jesus didn’t come to die, so they could kill goats and feel more satisfied, that’s dependence on works!

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
God has saved you, there’s no need to depend on your works. Stay saved. Be satisfied with the blood of Jesus, please, be satisfied with it. It is enough for you.

Stop expecting bad things to happen to you as a punishment for your sins. The moment you fall, repent and let him shower that love on you.

Why are you still running from God? Why are you hiding? Home is where you belong. Home is in God, I hope you go home.
