One of the most amazing thing about waiting on God for your marriage is the fact that God will often use your waiting season as an opportunity to prepare you for the battles that will come after your marital blessing has been received.
Oh you really need to understand this. Your waiting season is a training season, God is not only purging you to be ready for the gift you are waiting to recieve from Him, it is far deeper than that, He is using your waiting season to prepare you for what’s coming after the gift is received.
You don’t get it?

Isaiah 40:31 says,
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
God is saying the next time you will wait on Him for something else that you need to sustain the gift He has given to you, your strength will be renewed in the faith that you have experienced the amazing result that comes with waiting on Him for a blessing.

You will be as strong and confident as the Eagle the next time you wait on Him in the battle to keep your marriage.
You’ll keep running your marital race with faith, hope and courage without going weary even though the situations you’re praying to change in your marriage doesn’t look like it’s changing.
You will keep trusting God in the walk with your spouse without fainting because you have walked with Him before and He gave you the desires of your heart.

The delay is intentional. Sometimes God keeps you waiting patiently for your marriage breakthrough on purpose, because He has seen in the future that they are situations that will rise in your marriage where waiting on Him is the only way to come out of it.
So God needs you to learn patience now, He needs you to learn how to hear His voice in the midst of your doubts now that you’re still single. God needs you to learn how trusting Him can get you out of difficult situations because the marriage you are believing Him for is going to need it.

Guys, the real miracle in waiting on God is not in the gift you receive, the real miracle is in the lessons and the Godly virtues you pickup while waiting for the gift to come. Godly virtues like patience, hope, increased faith, trust, deeper intimacy with God and mastering God’s voice.
Today, stop focusing on the gift, arrh arrrh, the gift has already been promised to you, the gift is sure to come, but how are you mastering the miracles that comes with waiting on God.
