CAUGHT UP BETWEEN TWO OPTIONS…

Just yesterday, I saw an offer on a friend’s status and I decided to go for it. After having a conversation with the Boss, I was told to see him again today so as to make some reasonable conclusions.

While I was heading home, the Holy Ghost began to raise questions in my heart:
“You didn’t even bother to ask if this job was my will for you or not?
What are you doing here?
You’re looking for money?
I have told you that what you need is more money, not more works.

It is mercy that brings money, not labour. This job is not my will for you, so, stay back. It will take too much of your time and you won’t be able to meet up with some of my demands for you.
Go and tell them that you won’t be able to cope.”
Those were the words the Holy Ghost spoke to me.
Seeing the man today, I told him just what the Holy Ghost had instructed me.

The man concluded that I am blindly loyal to my current employer. That, I didn’t even bother to ask about the amount they would pay me.
His words were piercing; I started feeling bad for saying what I said. My emotions began to take over from my Spirit. I was literally confused, I felt his offer was far better. He wanted me to quit my current places of work to embrace his. But this time around, it will take much more time…

Long story cut short…
I told him to give me time to think about it. As soon as I left him, the Holy Ghost came back.
“Don’t ever accept his offer, if you do, you are exchanging your spiritual life for that job. More so, quitting your two current works abruptly will make you present yourself as a bad person and an inconsiderate person. Where do you want them to get a quick replacement for you?
You want to sell relationship because of money?

Look, if you accept his offer, you won’t stay too long in that place before you’ll get frustrated. You just won’t be able to do the things you used to do before.
Eventually, you’ll lose your peace and get kicked out of the place.
When you call him tomorrow, tell him you won’t be able to accept his proposal.”
Hmm…

How many people are like me? You are caught up between two opinions and you seem confused. I urge you to look out for the voice God; listen out for divine instructions…
Don’t be like Lot, who would only pick the land that appeared GREEN, without consulting God who created all land.

Don’t pick a greener land that is near Sodom.
Don’t sell your future for immediate CHOPS.
When you’re caught up between two opinions, never let your emotion take the lead from your Spirit. If it does, you may find yourself locked up in the Lion’s den.

So, tomorrow, I’ll not give room for any further emotions…
I move with the Spirit, I move when the spirit moves.
