Why Do We Fast ?

Fasting is an act of separation and denier of self pleasure to gain strength and sensitivity in the spiritual..
Like I said in the other post..
“Reduced activity in realm is a double access in another”
Jesus said.. The disciples needed no fasting as long as he was WITH them.. But it shall come to pass when he shall be taken… Then they shall fast..
This tells us that the aim of fasting is to gain ACTIVE SPIRITUAL PROXIMITY WITH JESUS. Through SPIRITUAL AWARENESS AND ALACRITY..

If you agree with that..
Then I have a question..
Jesus is still with us in the person of the holy spirit… Does that mean we need no fast?

Now.. Our humanity is flooded with multiplied distractions..
That we often cannot pick spiritual signals without struggling…
There is a lot of distractions in the flesh..
The purpose of a fast is to get away and above the distractions of this realm so we can be BETTER POSITIONED to access the spirit realm..
“WHEN YOU FAST.. YOU TRADE A REALM FOR ANOTHER”
So although the spirit is in us.. We have to consciously separate ourselves unto the lord..

Let me say something that may shock you..
If you are able to manage the distractions of this realm. Accessing spirituality with ease..
Then you don’t need MUCH fast..
Yes…

Have you wondered why the Apostles in ACTS 6 when about choosing the deacons said:
…We Cant Continue To Serve Tables..
Elect Among You Men Of Good Report To Take Up That Task..
While we GIVE OURSELVES CONTINUALLY TO “PRAYER” TO THE “MINISTERING OF THE WORD” vs 4..
(They gave themselves CONTINUALLY)
Did you notice there was no FASTING there?
PRAYER AND THE WORD..
These two activities are the central activities in walk with God..
Now this is because they lived a concentrated and secluded lifestyle.. Only going out to do GOD’S WORK.. day in.. Day out..
Although scriptures tells us that peter fasted..
Basically fasting is so important in sharpening and heightening your SPIRITUAL RECEPTACLES…

So saul who became paul had an encounter with God..
And he was blinded for days and in fasting…
Whilst he couldn’t see in the PHYSICAL.. His SPIRITUAL senses came alive..
He had a vision of ANANIAS..
Do you see that..
“Reduced activity in this realm.. Is a double advantage in the spiritual..”
While He couldn’t interact with people.. he was interacting with SPIRITS..

PAPA WILLIAM BRAHAM played host to strange dimensions of the spirit..
He could speak things to be..
He was the God father of the Pentecostal prophetic revival..
He operated amazing dimensions of the GLORY…
This COLOSSUS said one time that:
“…the longest fast I have ever done was 3DAYS..”
whhhhhaaatttt
And he operated such dimensions of God?
It can’t be….Is God partial?

William branham longest food fast was 3DAYS.. But his longest FAST wasn’t..
Let me explain

It is said that….
WILLIAM BRANHAM often separated himself from the public..
Go into the wild (forest) and stay there for days..
Eating, studying, praying and meditating…
Now that is a FAST..
He reduced ACTIVITY in this realm.. to gain access in the spiritual..
He sacrificed those appetite to talk, gist, visit friends and family, stay with the busy world.. Went into the forest ALONE WITH GOD to gain deeper access In the spirit..
Now that is a FAST…
It is a sacrifice..

One time PAPA KENNETH E. HAGIN fasted food for days and at the end…
God told him:
“I AM MORE INTERESTED IN THE WAY YOU LIVED YOUR LIFE DURING THE FAST.. THAN THE HUNGER YOU FELT… I PREFER A FASTED LIFE”
Waaawwwwwwuuuu
Yeee
So you mean Papa starved himself for days and God was MORE interested in the WAY HE LIVED during those days?
Yesss
God is more interested in your coordination than the hunger you feel..

You notice when you are on a FAST;
You want to TALK LESS..
you want to STUDY THE BIBLE..
you want to read CHRISTIAN LITERATURE..
you don’t want to DISOBEY YOUR PARENTS.
you don’t want to quarrel..
You don’t want to go too public..
You want to stay indoors alone with God..
You want to PRAY MUCH..
You don’t want crowd…
you want to be SEPARATED..
You are CONSCIOUS OF THE SPIRIT REALM..

you are always expecting GOD TO VISIT YOU..
( I personally have discovered that there is this charge of power in me.. when i talk less..)
Now God credits that lifestyle than the hunger…
This is the secret of WILLIAM BRANHAM..

It is not easy.. Trust me..
One day.. I decided to not see anybody.. Talk to nobody.. Just sit there with my eyes blindfolded… Even while eating….
for one week.. ..
I couldn’t survive till day three

Fasting is sacrificing the appetites of this realm to gain more grounds in the spirit..
It Is BASICALLY not about starving yourself.. (That does God NO GOOD)..
it is gaining mastery in spiritual things by sacrificing things here….
If you can do that even while eating….
then you don’t need MUCH fasting..
(And of course you know it is not easy to have a full tummy and do those things .. Over feeding has a way of making you excited)..

Can God instruct you not to eat?
YES..
(I personally went 8months.. Eating only at night)
But Only to this end;
That you come CLOSER and be BETTER POSITIONED to RECEIVE in the spirit..

So you see one old baba.. Sitting on one rock close to a waterfall.. With his eyes closed for days.. Connecting and contacting energies..
And when he comes out..
He speaks a word to a territory and the word stands..
You may sit there murmuring:
But he is not a Christian now…

Jump up.. And be shouting:
Whoever is in christ is a new creation old Things have passed away..
And his legislation over that territory still stands..

Why?
He knows the world unseen..
He has interacted with both natural and spiritual energies… Through sacrifice.. He has tap into the spiritual…
(I have always told us.. That man (born again or not) is a spiritual being)
So although he is not born again.. He can invoke the activities of spirits..
And submit that territory to them..
He becomes A PRIEST to a CIVILIZATION that he trapped in that forest…
Those days that old man spent on that mountain…
Took him from this realm into a more powerful one..
To undo his legislations…
you have to know a stronger force!

Believers in this days must have spiritual intelligence.
You know why??
LIFE IS SPIRITUAL!
