I know the reason for your inconsistency with your spiritual disciplines.
I know the cause of prayer been very tedious and uninteresting to you.
It is because you have not tasted what intimacy with God really is. Yes! There is a reason why the psalmist said “O taste and see that the LORD is good…..”. (Psalm 34:8 KJV)
Of all the words to use, he used ” taste”. That is not an error, he did that intentionally.

Because God is sweet.let me say it again, God is sweet. If you don’t know God is sweet, it is because you have never tasted God.
If you taste the feeling of intimacy with God, you will be hooked forever.
Have you been in a situation where you are praying and a smile just breaks forth on your face? You just feel somehow you can’t describe with any language.

That is what I call pleasure in it’s greatest form.
God wants you to enjoy the pleasure of His embrace, He doesn’t like it that when people talk about God been their lover, it’s like cock and bull story to you.
It is possible for you too, to live a life of intimacy with God. Enough of “I have heard of you with the hearing of the ear” and move unto to “Now my eyes see you”.
You will never know how sweet God is until you TASTE. God wants you to keep tasting.

The more you TASTE, the more you will want to TASTE and the SWEETER you can TASTE.
Consistency and Intimacy with God work hand in hand. You will never know God until you are consistent.
Keep seeking God even though you can’t hear His voice yet. Don’t stop, prayer is first a monologue before it becomes a dialogue. Your consistent demand for a TASTE of God will surely catch Heaven’s attention.
