I was still a member of Winner’s Chapel then…
Hundreds and if not thousands of Winner’s pastors were going to be sent to all the parts of the world for missionary assignment…
Apart from his AGIP, missionary project, the whole church was also preparing for what we called – MISSION TO THE WORLD (MTW)
Almost all the embassies in the world were being contacted for visas and residency permits for thousands of Winner’s missionaries to be exported to all the parts of the known and unknown world…

For many months, prayers were been made, during all the Sundays and all midweek services .. in preparation…
People were committed in sowing financial seeds for that mighty kingdom project..
But suddenly, we didn’t hear about it again…
It was cancelled…
I was later told by a pastor in Winner’s that Papa Oyedepo woke up one day and changed his mind…

That God was not in that plan the way he designed it then… And that was how that project was called off…
Many got angry… That he was confused…
Some even left the church, saying that he used that project to collect money…
I know a branch of Winner’s Chapel that lost many key financial members because of that…

But that was when I began to respect that man Bishop David Oyedepo …
And I wish King Saul had that kind of heart, he would not have disobeyed God because of what people would say…
Many of us are still carrying out projects God has left long ago because we don’t want people to say that we are confused…

Some churches are still standing that which should have closed many years ago if the man of God obeyed God…
Tell me why a church that is running on an expired instruction will not struggle …
There is nothing wrong
going fully into outreaches once again, sir…
We will laugh at you, that you are confused..
But time will justify you…

There was a time when they said that Moses was confused…
Jesus, Abraham, Paul etc were also once termed confused…
I have struggled to discontinue from several wonderful kingdom projects because I was afraid of what people would say even when I knew that God had told me to stop…
But when I finally made up my mind to stop, the peace that followed helped me when I heard things people were saying about the decision…
Don’t continue where God has left because you want to show people that you are consistent…

That is why I pity all young men of God today whose lives are over crowded because they are looking for endorsements from people that were not there when God called them…
I only hope that what you call consistency is not recycling an old instruction God has abandoned?…
I hope you can hear Him well so that you won’t become a victim of foolishness while calling it consistency…

Imagine what would have become of Abraham if he obeyed when God told him to kill Isaac, but didn’t obey when He told him to spare the child…
It would have been tragical..
Friends, let’s be careful …
Greatness has a heart for it ..
In ministry, there is no hope for those that wants people to be understanding them all the time…
You can still be doing something godly, yet, God is not in it…

In a time like this, when people are forcing themselves for people to see them as those making impacts, many are already missing it…
Impacts does not come by the volume of things you do for God, but by the obedience to the instructions of the little you are doing …
Many are in a small local church making more impacts than some of those who are flying all over the world …

Some people will never have peace until they obey God and leave church auditorium and go back to crusade grounds …
If Bishop Oyedepo went ahead with that program because of what people were going to say …
The heaven would have been closed against him…
And it is not possible that He would have come to where he is today…
Yes, many members left…
But, you can’t compare Winners Chapel in 2003 with Winner’s Chapel in 2021…

Even if you are blind, you will still testify that the expansion is massive…
The more I grow in this work, the more I know that everything does not come through anointing …
There are things only obedience can give a man…
Sometimes, God’s direction brings several attacks …
Sometimes, He will tell you what will make your members or sponsors to start doubting you and stop sponsoring you…
Please, don’t be blackmailed into disobedience…

Anybody that is not ready to follow you as you foolishly follow Christ, should not be close to your vision…
You don’t need domestic pressures, so that you don’t lose God because of men…
You are in Ministry, not to please your members, but to follow the Person that sent you…
Stop looking for who will believe in your minstry…

Because, a time will come when the same people that believes in you today will say that you are confused tomorrow…
Can we go back and cry to God to help us develop tough skin…
Because the call of God upon our lives will soon begin to make demand on it…

I don’t know about you, but for me…
It is obvious that the journey ahead is still too far and without Him, I know that I cannot do this work…
