The Leaf, The Branch And The Root

A tree is not called a tree because it is tall but it is considered a tree due to certain features it possess; The leaves,Branches and Root.
These three important features have their unique functions in helping the tree grow.
In life, there are three kinds of people we meet in the context of the tree’s illustration.

THE LEAF
These people are in our lives only but for a season.
They can not be so dependable nor trusted to weather the storms with us because they have their weaknesses.
They can only offer you the cover or shade like the leaves that they are for a season.
They take what they can and as soon as it is Autumn, they wither off.

THE BRANCH
These people are much more stronger than the leaves but they need care.
They may stick around for long from season to season but if a terrible storm rolls through, it is very possible for them to break off and you lose them.
Branches varies in strength.
Be patient in testing their strength as new branches may not be able to handle so much.

THE ROOT
These set of people are hard to find because they are not trying to be seen.
They do their work underground without seeking attention.
They give you that firm support your life and business needs.
They are a strong, resilient and powerful force to have in one’s life.
They give you the support you need to stand firm and they nourish your growth.
Like the root of any tree, they need to be nourished too.
Water them with love, appreciation, gratitude and generosity.
Not everyone is designed to be a root in your life.
While looking for ‘root’ be a root to other people and it is mostly likely they reciprocate the gestures.
You cannot be a leaf and expect a root relationship.
The leaves, branches and root all make up a tree and their function differs.
You need the experience of the leaf and branches to grow and to also help you appreciate a root when you find one.
