THE PASTOR AND HIS PAINS:(A MUST READ FOR ALL CHURCH WORKERS)

THE PASTOR AND HIS PAINS:
(A MUST READ FOR ALL CHURCH WORKERS)

2 Corinthians 7:5.
For, when we were Come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.

The above scripture explains what most Pastors go through in ministry.
On the outside there are fightings, on the inside there are fears.
Most times, all the people see on the Pulpit is a Pastor that has everything working for him.
We see the GAINS but we don’t see their PAINS.
No one seems to see his Pains and Perils.

Most Pastors are BLEEDING AND LEADING AT THE SAME TIME.
But behind his Designer’s DRESS, sometimes is a DEPRESSED person standing for you.
Most times, a Pastor will have to preach with a sick body, not as a result of zeal, but a genuine love for God and for the People of God.

There are times a Pastor will have to go and deposit a dead Family Member in the mortuary and still rush to the Sanctuary to bless God’s People.
I have done that on so many occasions.
Only few Pastors can manage such experience.
You can imagine the pain of such an emotional switch.
Sometimes it may even be that his wife is very sick on admission in the hospital and you asked him after service ‘where is Mummy’? because you did not see her in church.
He tells you Mummy is fine, because he can’t tell you Mummy is on admission in the hospital battling for life.

Oh, what a difficult life to live.
Everyone in the church comes to him with their problems, but he can’t tell anyone his own problems within the church, because not everyone can really know his problems and still believe him as their Pastor. Most members are not matured for that.
There are days he will Fast, Pray, Study and Prepare very well, yet he will come to church and see the chairs empty.
No one is touched, but he is completely depressed, wondering what has gone wrong, what has he not done.

Sometimes, the same people you RAISED are angry with your own LIFTING, and are doing everything possible to plot your down fall, yet you have to love them and keep blessing them.
There are Services, everyone is jumping and praising God for the Great Move of God in that Service, yet there are people waiting to see Pastors for their DELAYED payments for ongoing Projects in Church.
Sometimes, a Committed Church Worker very close to him, passes on to glory, and everyone is SAYING:
Pastor why? Pastor why? As if Pastor is the one that gives and takes life.

And some begin to question his ability to protect the rest of them.
If there are no Miracles happening, some People will say he is not Called or he has lost his Fire.
The day they start seeing Miracles, some Members will say he has put his hands into evil.
There are times he uses his personal resources to do the Work of God, until there is even no money to run the Home Front. Yet he can’t tell anyone.

Dear Members,
As you can see, there are too many PAINS your Man of God may be going through that he cannot tell you.
Try not to be part of anything, any gang up or any meeting to cause him more Pains.
Refuse to be part of any group with an agenda to disgrace or destroy any Man of God. Those who do that don’t always end well..
Some People try to control everything about their Pastor: who he relates with, what he wears, where he goes to, the way his wife should behave.
if you know the pain that man is going through just to pastor you, you won’t bother him with all these trivial and irrelevant issues.

He is a human being.
Your pastor deserves to have Peace of Mind.
IF YOU CANNOT BE A BLESSING TO HIM, TRY NOT TO BE A PAINFUL LESSON TO HIM.
IF YOU CANNOT GIVE HIM YOUR OFFERING, TRY NOT GIVE HIM MORE SUFFERING.
IF YOU CANNOT GIVE THE MINISTRY YOUR TITHE, TRY NOT TO GIVE HIM YOUR FIGHT.

Instead of organising a gossip team against your Pastor, try to organise a Prayer team for him. That will go a long way to help him and also bless you in return.
Remember, you can’t gossip who you pray for and you can’t pray for who you gossip.
Where you can’t be under him and be faithful to him, just respectfully leave the church so as not to come under a curse.

Remember, the law is still the same, Touch Not My ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM.
If you know anyone that needs this message, please try and push it to them.

LET US PRAY FOR OUR PASTORS:
Dear Lord, we thank you for giving us the Gift of a Pastor, after Your own Heart.
Help us to stand with them faithfully and truthfully.
May we not cause or create pains for them.
Above all, may your Good Hand continue to be with them.
In Jesus Mighty Name we have prayed Amen.
