“It doesn’t matter what you’ve received, the pressure you felt in the meeting, if you don’t guard the ground you gained, the progress you made, it can be aborted…I have seen people looking nothing like 3 months with God because of the disaster of being DISTRACTED.
How do you guard the ground? Shut up, avoid distractions, stay away from any conversation that will take you on a journey backwards.” – Lawrence Oyor

Alongside his identical twin, he is on the revival frequency to bring many to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, through the music ministry. Born on 16th June 1992, to the family of (Late) Reverend (Dr) Gomba Fortune and Reverend (Mrs) Patience Oyor, he grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State and proceeded to study Law at the University of Ibadan.

He was vibrant in Christian fellowships even during his undergraduate days as he shared a divine encounter experience he had in May 2013 when he and his friends embarked on a marathon prayer session consisting of speaking in tongues, worship with an initial duration of 12 hours for 4 days and 36 hours over the weekend.

In his words, “…there were days when we would be praying; our eyes would be opened to see people praying with us and then the people would just vanish. I remember asking to confirm if I alone was seeing this and a number of people confirmed the same experience…God was trying to bring us into the understanding of a life we would be living as a body soon.”

Moreover, Lawrence Oyor has been prominent in feeding the lambs through the children ministry and encourages parents to show their children his Ministration videos as a way of seeding their hearts into God’s Kingdom. He specializes in ministering the Word and Spirit to children from the ages of 4 and above.

According to him, “I don’t believe that there is anything in God that a 3-year old and above cannot come into. We’ve seen children fast all day and pray for as long as 15 to 20 hours in tongues… You won’t get the attention of these children with talk alone. God is practical, so get practical with them. They have more than enough faith to see, hear and experience the supernatural.”

On 10th October 2020, his ministry was taken to a higher level when he married his heart throb Darasimi Mike Bamiloye who now features in his recently released songs such as ‘Nigeria will be great’ and ‘Love’.
