Desecrating The Consecrated

Desecrating The Consecrated
Desecrating The Consecrated

Do you know that you dare not use any Vessel or instrument that has been dedicated and consecrated to an idol?

If you dare use it for something else other than what it was consecrated for, you would attract the wrath of the gods.

But how come we now use those Missionary BUSES that have been consecrated to God… (for Missions and Evangelism). How come we also use them for TOWN SERVICE?

We also rent our Church buildings that have been consecrated for Prayers to unbelievers for their celebration, just because the Church is in need of Money.

And even during Church meetings, we allow buying and selling in Church.

The worst is that COMEDIANS are now allowed to climb the Holy Altar of God to CRACK JOKES.
They mount the Holy podium, and use the Holy Microphone which were all dedicated and consecrated to the Holy God….and we all laugh about it.

Well, King Belshazzar was also laughing and making merry when he made the greatest mistake of his life.
He ordered his servants to bring those vessels that were dedicated and consecrated to the Temple of God in Jerusalem…he started using those Holy vessels to drink wine when he suddenly saw the Handwriting on the wall.

Daniel 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
5:26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
5:27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

There’s an Handwriting on the wall against many Churches in Nigeria, and it’s also written “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.”
They were the same words written against King Belshazzar when he Desecrated the Holy Vessels of God.

Those who worship Idols know the implication of eating any food that has Been Sacrificed to the gods.

But today, some take Church money to run their personal business, and wonder why it’s not prospering.

What the Church need at this moment is the Mercy of God….
Why not pray for the Church and say; “Lord, have mercy….”
