PSALM 91:1-16

1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

vs 1-4, Show us that When you come to trust the Lord, even this day, you are going to find that He will be your shelter, protection, fortress, refuge, and high tower over your life in Jesus name. Any arrow thrown against your life shall not hit you in Jesus name. Amen.
vs 5-6. In the night you are protected, in the day you are protected.

Curses flying about,

Sicknesses are traveling about,

Disasters are traveling about,

Hazards are traveling about,

Accidents going about,

Tears are flowing in people’s eyes,

Heartache for anyone,

Yokes and oppression and more
Will not come near you even if they come to thousands and ten thousands around you.
vs 7-13. Every day of the week, every week of the month, every month of the year, no evil will befall you. Whatever it is, cancer, tuberculosis, brain problems, depression, or any other thing, no plague shall come near your dwelling.
vs 14. You are delivered and promoted already, the Lord will set you on high.
vs 15. All your prayers are answered. Everything you open your mouth to tell the Lord, He will answer.

Trouble is no more trouble when the Lord is there.

Fire is not going to burn when the Son of God is there.

The river is not going to drown when the Son of God is there, when His presence, power and promises are with you, no problem anymore.
vs 16. With loooooong liiiiiife will He will satisfy us and show us His mercy! Amen.

This is talking about our Lord. He is our Saviour, Shield, Shepherd, Shelter, Sufficiency and Security. As you look at this Psalm, there are a lot of things we can see but we are going to focus on three things:

A. THE SECURITY OF ABIDING BELIEVERS. Psalm 91:1-13
You can make up your mind that you will be an abiding believer. The promise of His protection and power is only for those who abide in the secret place of the Most High. There, no evil eye will see you. The Lord has a secret place where He will hide you just like He hid Elijah and he became invisible to Ahab who was seeking to kill him. The key is to abide in the Lord (Psalm 61:4-7). If we abide in the tabernacle of the Lord, that means we will only do those things which can be done in the tabernacle of God, and desist from anything that cannot be done there.

What takes place in the tabernacle of the Lord? Praises, worship, singing, joy, truthfulness, faithfulness, loyalty and godliness. These are what we will do and we will abide before God forever.
Proverbs 19:23. If you are going to abide and God will see you and say this is my son or daughter in whom I’m well pleased, you must be conscious of the presence of God. You will honour, respect, exalt and reverence Him. You will not do anything that will offend His sight, as a result, His blessings will not miss you.

Jeremiah 42:10. The Lord has decided to give you great blessings from now till the end of your life, but the condition is abiding in Him. Some people stray out from where God has put them, they are there today and not there tomorrow, they have to come back to the place where God put them. God has put some people in a place of ministry, and no other person can do what they are supposed to do, and they run here and there and no one knows where they are. They have series of excuses, it is better to come back home.

Thus, God will pour His blessings upon you in multiple folds and build you up. He will build a house, family, business and every good thing for you in Jesus name. Only if you will abide where He has put you. The Lord will not pull you down but lift you up, He will plant and not pluck you up. He will reverse every evil that befell you in the past in Jesus name.

The security we are talking about is only in Christ (John 12:46). Abide in the light of His word and teaching, not in a shady or unknown business or situations (ch 15:4-7) From now on, whatever you do, you will bear fruits, no barrenness again in Jesus name. All the low count in the body of your husband, I pronounce it created in Jesus name. In place of infertility in any sister there, I pronounce creativity of anything missing in Jesus name. If you abide in Christ, you will be fruitful in your home, business, profession, ministry and all round in your life in Jesus name. You will bear fruits, much and abundant fruits in Jesus name.

Psalm 91:1-10. You will abide under the shadow of the Almighty and the devil will not have the courage or effrontery to come there and hurt you, the fire of the Holy Ghost will burn them in Jesus name. You are free and free indeed. Your language will change, no more negative language, and whatever you say shall come to pass. Say “I’m a conqueror, an achiever and overcomer, I am well and doing good, all the promises of God are yea and Amen”, and it is so in Jesus name. You cut off some things from your vocabulary: maybe, I don’t know, I cannot tell, maybe it will happen or not, etc. From now on, your language will be positive.
Anytime the wicked mentions your name, the Holy Ghost will slap their mouths and scatter them! Anywhere they mention your name for bad, they will not see your destiny or star because the Lord says you are His and He is yours and Angelic ministers are detailed to protect you. You are blessed and favoured. Amen.

Those who have a shield, whatever the enemies throw at them never gets to them. The shield protects them, you will not be afraid of the arrow by night or day, you will sleep and nothing shall make you afraid. Your family is protected. Your wife and children will go out and come back safely. No evil will befall you. We will see one another again with joy. There will no plague to befall you, it will not come near your dwelling in Jesus name. Amen.

B. DIVINE SUPPORT FOR AFFECTIONATE BELIEVERS. Psalm 91:14
When people are intimate with God, they are affectionate towards Him. That means you collect and gather your love and affection together and channel, set and focus them all towards God. The love will not be flabby, flowing here and there. As a result of this, the Lord will deliver you.

Setting our love on God and what it does. Deuteronomy 30:6-9
Some people count the Lord special, He is their favourite, in the time of difficulty, He comes first to their mind, thus, God’s heart, promises and provision will be centered on them in return. When you set your love on God, He will put curses upon your enemies. He will rejoice over you and blessings will flow into your life. Set your love upon the Lord, and see what He will do. You and the fruits of your body (your children) will prosper, the fruits of your land (your crops/business) will prosper.

The Lord will rejoice over you. He rejoiced over Abraham and blessed him. The blessings of Abraham are coming upon you. He rejoiced over Isaac and Jacob, their blessings are coming over your life. He promoted Joseph out of the prison into the palace, that same promotion is coming your way in Jesus name.
Joshua 23:10. Set your love upon the Lord and see what He will do. One man of you will chase a thousand. Right now, this new revival that is starting, healings will take place here, as well as from over there. Revival as of the time of the Power As Of Old is coming back! Amen.

Testimony 1.
During one Thursday revival hour, a woman brought her lame and paralyzed husband in a taxi to the revival hour. She invited a sister usher to help her bring him down, but the usher said to the man, Daddy, come down. The wife tried to explain again that he was lame, but the usher repeated that the man should come down by himself.

All of a sudden, by the instruction of the sister, He came down and started walking, completely whole. The programme had not even started! Chorus singing had not even begun!

Testimony 2.
Sometimes, it is just by rejoicing. Sometimes ago I went to a town in Osun State for a programme and as our vehicle entered the venue, there was a lame man sitting by the wayside. Children and young were excited and started running after our car, shouting, “He has come! He has come!!” Even the adults were caught up in the joy (you will catch the joy in Jesus name!) and started running along too. I was even wondering, thinking that the adults too were running.

Afterwards, they turned the sentence, “he has come” into a song. The lame man was asking them who has come? They answered him, “sit down there, he has come!” When he did not hear any other thing, he also joined in, shouting, “he has come, he has come!”

All of a sudden, he rose up from the ground. The power of God struck him right there and he was not even limping, he was running after the other people. I’m saying that revival has come already! I’m announcing that as miracles are happening over here, so it will happen all over there. Miracles will happen everywhere in Jesus name!

The key is that you love the Lord. You set your love upon Him. You will not do anything that will contradict His will and desire (Psalm 31:19-20,23) You love God with all your souls and spirit, you will herald Him, you love your brother and neighbours as yourself, and some great things that you have never seen before will take place in your life. Those good old days are back again (I Corinthians 2:9) Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what the Lord has prepared for His children who love Him.

Testimony 3.
I was in one of the states in the South West for a programme and the Lord did many wonderful things. We needed to come back to Lagos for the worship service on Sunday. On Friday, there was a couple which could only see me on the last day of the crusade.

The woman had cancer and the doctor had booked her for a surgery the following Monday.
They met and told me the problem and I prayed a short, direct, straight to the point prayer: “You cancer germ, die!” and told them to go back to the hospital on Monday as scheduled and they must not tell the doctor anything, that after examining her, the doctor would tell her what had happened. I knew the doctor would tell her a good story.

At the hospital on Monday, the doctor prepared her for surgery and she was wheeled into the theater. She did not say anything but she knew something had happened. On examining her before the operation, lo and behold, they could not find anything. The doctor said, but I examined you last week!
He had to call another consultant to examine her but he did not tell him anything. After the examination, he asked his colleague why he called him, saying the woman is perfect and nothing was wrong with her.

The third and fourth doctor were called and they saw nothing. They said they did not know what happened to her because there was no trace of cancer in her body. She was told to come two weeks after, and was tested again, and the result was the same: NO CANCER. A month after, no cancer. The woman is still alive today, and will live for a long, long time.
With long life the Lord will satisfy you. Amen!

No calamity, disease or plague in your life,

No sickness, pain and affliction in your life,

No premature death,

Over you, your children, wife and husband, I command life!

Lord, confirm the words of my mouth concerning your people in Jesus name:

There will be joy, healing, victory, dominion, promotion evermore!

Amen and Amen!

Psalm 91:10-15
As you travel to and fro, the Lord will be with you. When you travel to the village, no evil will befall you. You will go and come back in peace, no evil will befall you. The Lord will deliver and set you on high, all those sitting on your promotion will be removed. Your promotion will come to you in Jesus name. The honour and award of the Lord is coming to you. These blessings will run and overtake you because this is the heritage of the children of God.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2;7-13. Never compare yourself to anyone again. The Lord has set you apart for His glory. His blessings shall overtake you. Enemies shall come against you one way and flee seven ways. If only you will hear and obey His words, all the works of your hands shall be blessed, you will be the head and not the tail. You will be above only and never beneath. You will not have enough time to share your testimonies in Jesus name. Amen.

C. THE SUSTENANCE OF (ASSIGNED, APPOINTED) APPROVED BELIEVERS. Psalm 91:16
When God has assigned you to do something, He says you should focus on and do it well. Even if you think you have almost passed the age of living in the world, God is saying that He is just starting with you. This is a time of excitement and new happenings, and He is promising to prolong your life until that assignment is finished. Long life is coming to you. Amen.

Do not mind the devil, he is a coward, he only comes in the dream and he will say you will die. But you have to remember that the Lord has promised to give you long life. Do not believe in that kind of dream, your Bible is greater than the dreams. Believe in the words of the prophets of God in scriptures which are greater than any dream. I cancel those dreams in Jesus name. All the dreams are nothing. Do not bother about them, focus on the promise of long life from God.

Proverbs 3:1-2; 10:27. If you keep to the promise of God, length of days will be your portion. When you remember, honour and worship Him, your life will be prolonged.
Exodus 23:25-26. As we serve the Lord our God, He will take sicknesses away from us, nothing will cast our young. The number of our days we will fulfill, and a single hour, day, week or month will not be taken off our lives in Jesus name. With long life He will satisfy us and He will show us His salvation.

Deuteronomy 33:26-29

26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

These promises are yours and you will experience them from this very day in Jesus name because you dwell in the secret place of the Most High. From now, do not say negative things. You will not be afraid of anything, a thousand will fall by your right hand and ten thousands by your left hand, they shall not come near you.

The angels of the Lord will encamp round about you and you will be protected. The Lord will set you on high and promote you. He will deliver you from evil and trouble. He will show you the privileges and blessings of His salvation, you are blessed already. Amen.

Prayer :

• Rise up and tell the Lord, I receive and accept the promise, it is mine. The promises of God are yes and Amen in your life. Ask for grace to dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
• Pray that God will keep our Pastor in His secret place of protection and satisfy him with long life.
